You need to buy a ticket, the event charge a small ticket fee in order to pay for the large costs involved. In the past TBP relied heavily on Sponsorship, and still do to make the tickets prices as low as possible.

To ensure a smooth experience: Your ticket/QR code will be exchanged for a non-removable wristband

Absolutely! Your ticket grants you unlimited re-entries, between 11am and 10pm.

Be sure to have thebigpicnichk.com on your smartphone. If it's hot you'll need sun tan cream. Have an option to pay cashless.

Our festival will proceed unless there’s a significant weather advisory, such as Typhoon 8 or a black rainstorm warning. Updates regarding the event will be shared on this website.

There will be soft drinks, water and full bar available plus delicious food at various marquees. We gladly accept a variety of payment methods, including:

  • Visa, MasterCard
  • Samsung Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay
  • Tap & Go, Alipay, WeChat Pay, Union Pay, BoC Pay, and Octopus.


To keep the atmosphere enjoyable for everyone:

  • Please refrain from bringing outside food or drinks.
  • Illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
  • Smoking is not allowed. .
  • Only guests aged 18 and above may purchase alcoholic beverages.

Picnic was never really free, in the past festival goers were asked to buy a wristband. This year the beach will be closed off so you must have a ticket for entry. Tickets are available now via our link on the www.thebigpicnichk.com/tickets
